About us

KW Fitness was founded over a decade ago as a small, family-operated business specialising in personal training and group gym sessions.

The business has evolved into a thriving studio gym, led by Karl and Sam, who are helped out by various team members specialising in a variety of areas within the fitness industry.

KW Fitness believes in supporting, challenging, and encouraging people to be their best. Our group sessions cater to all ages and levels of fitness. Personal training sessions can involve anything from beginner strength training to boxing, to HIIT, heavy traditional lifting or a mix of all of the above.

Our ethos is finding what works for each individual, both in group and personal training sessions. We aim to make physical activity something people want to do, because it makes them feel good!

The KW Fitness team also offers food plans that include yummy, regular food – so the client never feels too restricted.

Why KW Fitness?

Our point of difference is our ability to provide the three core pillars needed for a successful health change:

  • A gym experience, either in a group or one-on-one situation

  • Nutritional guidance and customised food plans to suit a client’s specific goals

  • Group support, motivation and accountability

    While our group workout sessions are perfect for this, the motivational vibe is intensified during fitness challenges, which we run 3-4 times a year. These are generally 6-8 weeks long. The challenges are a chance to intensify your focus for a short burst of time alongside around 100 other people, all aiming for their own goals. The events are a huge part of KW’s success and have allowed us to build a strong community of like-minded, supportive people.

You’ll find Karl working full time in the gym, running back-to-back personal training sessions and multiple group sessions. Karl also consults with new clients looking for food plans or workout strategies to achieve the results they are after.

Sam

Sam oversees the organising, admin and nutrition side of the business. She works with individual clients to create food plans customised to suit their goals.

You’ll find Nic behind the scenes of the business’s social media and other business support areas, as well as helping out in the gym.

  • Professional Certificate of Meal and Menu Planning.

  • Certified InBody Body Composition operator with 3 years’ experience in nutritional coaching.
